Greater Manchester Data Synchronisation Programme

The Greater Manchester Data Synchronisation Programme (GMDSP) is a groundbreaking programme to create a Greater Manchester wide environment for the free-flow of similar data amongst the public sector organisations whilst creating a mechanism for the release of open data. GMDSP builds infrastructure through a common quad store that allows Greater Manchester’s data to be linked, and acts as a focal point for the public sector and data community to engage with Open Data.

The first phase of the programme is being co-designed, developed and delivered with Manchester City, Salford City and Trafford Councils with the second phase scaling to the other public sector organisations within Greater Manchester.
